About the Museum

The Kent and Sharpshooters Yeomanry Museum Trust is a Registered Charity, number 273329.

The Kent and Sharpshooters Yeomanry Museum Trust is managed by a board of Trustees, comprising:

  • Daniel Taylor, Curator
  • John Gunn
  • Huw Jones
  • David Lakin
  • Phil Mason
  • Tim Rayson

The Secretary to the Trustees is Huw Jones

The trustees are assisted by a number of ex-officio members and volunteers including representatives of the serving Squadrons (Royal Yeomanry & Royal Corps of Signals), their Old Comrades Associations and other interested individuals.

The principal museum is housed within Hever Castle, Nr Edenbridge, Kent, TN8 7NG. Further collections are housed (and open to view by appointment) in Croydon and Bexleyheath.




The Museum has been awarded Full Accreditation by the Arts Council of England (October 2017).
