New audio visual equipment

Chris Sutton writes...

The new touch screen has now been installed in our current museum in the keep at Hever Castle. Thank you to so many people for providing great contents for our audio-visual displays, and to the Army Museums Ogilby Trust for their grant towards the costs. Chris, Boris, Huw and Guy trialled the touch screen in public at the Eden Valley Museum WW1 event on 10 May, and it was a real hit with all ages. The children especially enjoyed the multiple choice quiz that we have created.

We will be experimenting with the touch screen in the next few months, to develop our skills and experience in using it, and to get user reactions, before we transfer it across to the new museum building next spring. We plan to have multiple touch screens in the new museum.
