Daimler ‘Dingo’ Scout Car
After successful wartime use, the Dingo remained in British Army service into the 1960s. It was eventually succeeded by the Ferret Scout Car which was introduced from 1952
The ‘Dingo’ had a crew of two, and could be armed with a Bren gun. It had a top speed of 50mph cross country.
After the change in role to an armoured car unit, the Dingo was the most numerous vehicle employed by 3rd/4th CLY late into the 1950s
