Surgeon Lieutenant Edward Chandler (1841-1930)
Married William Wharton’s grand-daughter, Enid Wharton, in 1893.
Served with the Army Medical Service (1863-1875) and fought in New Zealand, in the last of the Maori wars from 1864-1866.
His New Zealand medal is in the medal case.
