The Cricketer

Lord Harris’ last match at Lord’s was in 1929 against an Indian side, aged 78.

He died at Belmont, his family home near Faversham, two years after his wife, on 24 March 1932.

‘No man has exercised so strong an influence on the cricket world so long…’ (E.W. Swanton, Barclays World of Cricket, 1986)
