Overview of KSY involvement

Soldiers of our regiment were involved in

• The British forces in France in 1939/40 and the evacuations from Dunkirk and St Valery
• The war in the Western Desert in North Africa
• The war in Sicily and Italy
• The allied landings in Normandy in 1944,  and the subsequent fighting in France, Holland and Germany
• Plus defensive operations in Britain, the Middle East, Iceland and elsewhere
