On 10 October, Richard Black and Roan Hackney of the London Medal Company ran a military antiques roadshow at the museum, discussing items brought in by members of the public. This was followed by a talk on The Yeoman Spirit, an entertaining insight into what motivates volunteer soldiers of the Yeomanry. Professor Ian Beckett discussed the period from 1794 to 1908, while author and former C Squadron adjutant Dr Patrick Mileham covered the First World War to the present day.
