In the period 1919-1938 the Sharpshooters became initially the 5th and then the 23rd London Armoured Car Company (Sharpshooters) and were based at Allitson Road near St Johns Wood.
They were equipped with:
1920-29 – Peerless armoured cars
1930-1937 – Rolls Royce and Crossley armoured cars
